Dynaudio's obviously put a lot of effort into this in-car system. Not only does it sound great by modern standards, it's also relatively affordable in the grand scheme of in-car options. It's more expensive than the Excite model you can configre for the Golf, but that wouldn't stop us ticking the box with Confidence.

With the Dynaudio's, vocals are amazing, there is more detail than the big corns for sure, and a more 3 dimensional effect going on with the imaging. They do sound cleaner, and crisper than the Cornwalls but they do this without being thin or light sounding.

While Volkswagen has switched to a different audio supplier for most of their new vehicles, the Volkswagen Touareg is still available with a Dynaudio sound system from the factory. Bugatti has also employed Dynaudio as their OEM audio supplier. Bugatti's Dynaudio system is called The Puccini Sound System.

A company like Dynaudio doesn't emerge fully-formed. It takes a clear philosophy – an enduring one – to guide it.
