If you need to use Find My Device on the web, by default, you'll be able to find your item based on its online location or encrypted stored location. To find items through Find My Device network on the web, you'll need to select With network in all areas as the Find your offline device setting.

In the search bar, enter a destination or tap it on the map. Follow the on-screen instructions to help Maps find your location. Tip: Point your phone camera at buildings and signs across the street, instead of trees and people. Once Maps knows where you are, you'll get directions through the camera view on your screen.
